In Australia we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. In New Zealand we handle it in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the store and fulfil your orders:
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password.
- Order details: shipping and billing addresses, the products you order, prices, delivery choices and order history.
- Payment details: when online payment is available, card details are entered directly with our payment provider. We receive a payment reference and status, not your full card number.
- Age confirmation: a record that you confirmed you are of legal age to enter the store. We may ask for further proof of age before dispatching an order.
- Messages: your name, email address, optional order number and message when you use the contact form or email us. We keep them to answer you and to keep a record of support requests.
- Reviews: your display name, rating and review text if you submit a product review.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser type, pages requested and error logs, recorded by our hosting and security systems.
- Site storage: the cookies and browser storage listed on the Cookie preferences page.
Most of this information comes directly from you. We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
How we use your information

- To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and warranty claims.
- To restrict sales to adults and to check that supply is lawful in your market.
- To answer your questions and send service messages about your orders.
- To keep the store secure, prevent fraud and fix technical problems.

- To send marketing, only if you have agreed to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not currently send marketing email.
If you do not provide information we need, such as a delivery address, we may be unable to complete your order.
Overseas disclosure

Before sharing information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to Australian and New Zealand privacy law.
Security and retention

You can view and update most account details in your account. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account by emailing [email protected].
We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. If we refuse a request, we will explain why, unless the law prevents us from doing so.
